Dr Bahgat Bassili graduated from Cairo University in 1985 and immigrated to Australia in 1990 for family reunion.
He has worked in Darwin, Dubbo and Swan Hill, in Accident and Emergency and as a general practitioner and recently moved from Portland to settle in Geelong with his wife Mona and son George.
Dr Bassili has been a full time general practitioner since 2000 and has obtained his FRACGP.
Dr Bassili has a special interest in Paediatrics and preventative medicine.
