Welcome Dr Frances Maxwell – New Female GP

Health e Medical Centre welcomes Dr Frances Maxwell to the general practice team.

 

Dr Frances Maxwell graduated from the University of Queensland School of Medicine in 2004, and attained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010.  Frances has been working as a GP in the Geelong area for 10 years.

Frances has a special interest in sexual health, including insertion & removal of intrauterine devices like Mirena, as well as MSM health.  Frances is looking forward to completing s100 prescriber training in June 2018 so she can prescribe antiretrovirals for HIV.  Frances also loves travel medicine, and looking after medical students and doctors in training.

Frances enjoys visiting local high schools as part of the Docs Helping Teens program, and being an examiner for Deakin University School of Medicine.

Outside of work, Frances can be found in her garden with her dogs, or pottering around the kitchen or at CrossFit.

Monday               7:30am – 11:15am

Tuesday               7:30am – 11:15am

Wednesday        7:30am – 11:15am

Thursday             1:30pm – 5:45pm

Friday                    7:30am – 11:15am
